Very rarely do I cry,
Its always when everything seems dry,
When no one looks into my eyes,
I find a moment to shed some tears,
I cry when I lose all my hopes,
I cry when I feel heavy loss,
I cry when nobody can hear my sniffled sobs,
I cry whenever I see my shoes,
Yet rarely do I cry,
And there is no wonder why,
Because nobody is around to wipe my tears,
Nobody wants to see a crying face,
I smile through those tears,
Just so this society accepts me as one of theirs.
